All treatments are priced at £70 PER HOUR, with the exception of On-Site Chair Massage which is £30 for 25 minutes.
New Clients – there is an additional £5 for the first visit which includes extra time for a short consultation.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

Swedish Massage consists of various movements which form the basis for all massage work and is the gentle manipulation of the body’s soft tissues, to stimulate circulation and relieve muscle spasm.

It is a very effective form of massage, and can help with reducing pain and swelling, reducing anxiety and helps with relaxation, improves sleep, and generally boosts the immune system.

ON-SITE CHAIR MASSAGE

25 minutes £30

On-Site Chair Massage involves the use of a specially designed chair to support the fully clothed client who then receives a 20-25 minute massage. No oils are used. The client is first relaxed and then re-energised by working over 100 acupressure points on the back, neck, shoulders, head, arms and hands.

This massage is offered either in the treatment room in Carrbridge or in the client’s workplace.

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology involves applying pressure to reflex points on your feet and/or hands. By massaging reflex points found on the feet or hands it is possible to treat the different areas of the body since every part of the feet and the hands corresponds to a specific part of the body.

This is a deeply relaxing and effective therapy, intended to create balance, restore and maintain health. It is ideal for general stress relief, relaxation and health maintenance.

ADVANCED REMEDIAL AND SPORTS MASSAGE

Advanced remedial massage is used to treat and promote recovery from a variety of conditions or injuries, whether from sport, work or every day life.

The basics of Swedish massage are used in Advanced remedial therapy, but with the addition of detailed assessment and targeted specialised techniques, joint mobilisations and specific stretches, it can reduce pain and swelling, restore mobility, ease muscle tension, increase muscle flexibility, and generally improve recovery.

Advanced remedial massage can relieve conditions such as back and neck pain, sciatica, repetitive strain injury, and frozen shoulder. It helps reduce and then prevent the pain of sports or other injuries.

REIKI

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.

A first treatment at Carrbridge Massage includes a short consultation and health screening to ensure that Elisabeth is aware of any health conditions the client has, and that it is safe for the client to be treated. The consultation also allows her to establish the most appropriate therapy to suit the needs and expectations of the client.

Should Elisabeth consider that the most appropriate treatment falls outwith her expertise, she knows a network of other therapists whom she can recommend.

If you are unable to keep your appointment then please let us know as soon as you know.
If less than 48 hours notice is given a cancellation fee of 50% of your treatment cost may apply
If less than 24 hours notice is given you will be charged at full price
